This pose helps drain fluid from the legs, balance hormones, and can reverse the effects of gravity on the body.
- Sit with one hip against a wall. While lying back, sweep both legs up the wall towards the ceiling
- Draw the shoulders down the back and broaden through the chest
- The legs should remain a few inches apart.
It’s a very relaxing position, enjoy and breathe.
Tips
Tip 1
Though this pose requires a lot less effort, you will still be getting many of the benefits of practicing an active inversion, like increasing energy levels, reversing the effects of gravity, and helping balance blood pressure.
By fully relaxing your body and by focusing on deep breathing, you will evoke a meditative state.
