How To

In a yoga session, this pose is mostly used at the end of a vigorous pose to freely stretch the ankles, thighs, hips back, shoulder, and neck. It gives progressive relief to back pain.

  • Come on your knees and join the big toes together.
  • Now, sit on the heels of your feet and make yourself comfortable. Then spread the knees shoulder-width apart
  • stretch your arms in front of you with the palms toward the floor
  • Your neck should stay in neutral position. Breath through your back.

Tips

Reach forward

Stretch your arms out in front of you, keeping your palms facing down.

Relax and breathe

Take slow, deep breaths and try to relax your body.
