How To

Enter your pushup position, and go up and down with your upper body, while keeping your arms straight (elbows locked).

Make sure to start off with shoulders fully pushed away from the floor (shoulder blades are protracted); getting your chest up or inside.

From this position, you're going to retract your scapula, get your chest out or down, then repeat.

Tips

Tip 1

Without bending your elbows, slowly squeeze your shoulder blades together and apart to move your upper body up and down slightly.

Tip 2

This exercise strengthens your scapular muscles and is a great exercise for building shoulder strength and mobility.
