How To
Lift your shoulders up toward your ears.
Now make small forward circles with your shoulders by gently rolling them forward, down, back, and up.
Breathing normally, come back to center, then change the direction of your shoulder rolls.
Tips
Roll your shoulders back
As you exhale through your mouth, roll your shoulders back and down, drawing your shoulder blades together. Visualize your shoulder blades moving towards your spine.
Keep your neck relaxed
Avoid tensing your neck or jaw during the shoulder roll. Keep your neck relaxed and let the movement come from your shoulders and upper back.
Use your breath
Focusing on your breath can help you relax and deepen the stretch in the shoulder roll. Inhale deeply as you roll your shoulders back, and exhale as you roll them forward.
